Hello! My name is Alana, and I am a PhD student in Business Administration. I’m originally from a beach city in Brazil, Santos, but I moved to São Paulo to pursue my undergraduate studies. After some years of working in the marketing industry in Brazil, I wanted to shift my career to a research focus. I chose Concordia to pursue my master's and PhD, due to its strong industry-academia connection and its location in amazing Montreal. Since starting my master’s and moving to Canada, I have been able to expand my career opportunities and make friends from all different cultural backgrounds.
