À propos

Hi! I am Nesli, a PhD student in the Department of Education at Concordia University. I was born and raised in Germany, with roots in Turkey, and I have been fortunate to grow up immersed in both cultures. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education (with a focus on English and German), as well as a Master of Arts in German Literature. My doctoral research is driven by a desire to better support students from minority backgrounds, and I focus specifically on minority experiences within the German education system. Outside of academia, I am a relaxed mom who loves coffee, classic literature, anime, manga, and K-dramas.
